actually there have been numerous updates to both address issues in pve and pvp ... so everyone relax ... when its here you will know. Usually happens at around 10pm pst anyways (Io believe they tie up loose ends and catch last minute things just like the rest of us) ... I'm always on and check every 15 mins.

So please all save this thread from going to a mines bigger / im more important than you whining fest. Both side need some mega work ... and they are doing as much as they can ... patience as stated above.

My experience has been that they seem to hit between 4-4:30 PM Pacific. Me being Californian they seem to post a little bit right before I go home from work.

This is the first update to hopefully actually do something good for pvp (the others have been absolute rubbish). Considering the underlying gameplay and the problems inhibiting pvp and the fact that the core of hardcore gw players are pvp they need to do something fast in order to keep these people.

Pve updates will come in time, don't worry. They've done way more for pve so far than pvp anyway so impatience in that respect is absolute silliness.

I hope they dont do that but im sure they will. even if they release it its only going to be a little pvp update that you get some runes in pvp..... wow that makes it worth it since you ALREADY HAVE ALL THE BEST ARMOR and probably 9/10 people have already unlocked most the runes.........

They need pve updates and FAST

I dont have even close to "most" of the runes unlocked... besides, it's for unlocking skills, runes, and item unlocks, or so i thought?

And the pve will more then likely get more quests, and those two new huge area's added... but testing for balancing issues, and placement issues can be harder then many may think. But, i do think it's high on their list, right after this, and the observer mode... but heh, what do i know... i don't work for them.

I'm glad they are adding a PvP reward system. I honestly don't want to drive 2 more characters through PvE so I can have all the skills for PvP. I love PvP and plan on taking full advantage of the PvP-only when this new update comes. I'm not one these hardcore "GW suckerz cause I have to PvE just to show off my 31337 pvp sk1llz." But I don't want to run 4 characters through PvE to be ready for PvP espcially when I still have a lot of PvE to do with my monk and ranger Who, missionwise are near the end of the game.

I think you have that backwards.

Why? Because a LOT of people play PvE to unlock skills for PvP.

I did, and I'm not the only one.

And I would think going out to UW just to slaughter tons of mobs with no real reason would be more mindless than having to think and guestimate what your opponent is doing.

Give PvP a try, you might like it.

And remember, it's because of PvPers that you even get to go to UW.
